Emergency Medical Dispatching

In 2008, all Flathead County 911 dispatchers attended a comprehensive Emergency Medical Dispatching (EMD) course hosted by PowerPhone.  PowerPhone, Inc. is the world leader in crisis communications training. Since its inception in 1984, PowerPhone has trained over 120,000 public safety professionals how to save seconds and save lives in emergencies. All Flathead County 911 dispatchers are certified to give pre-arrival medical instructions to help safe lives during the precious moments before medical help arrives.
